International Photo Competition B&W Child 2019 Nominated Finalist

Extremely grateful to be nominated as a finalist in this international photographic competition. The exquisite low late light of a summer's evening threw long shadows of children at play into the country lane. The warm air was thick with insects in the stillness along the river's edge, piercing the darkened tree canopy with glitter. Young voices carried in the valley. 'Endless Summer' evoked that feeling of long carefree summer days as a child, but time does not stand still; nothing lasts forever: the day, the season, childhood... One child stands observant on the road of change.
